Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ron2001 Needs a lot of tamping.

Good stuff but needs a lot of tamping to get a solid patch. An ordinary tamp will not do the job. I suggest a sledge hammer and a heavy hammer. Start with sledge and sitting near patch, hand pound down. Then use smaller hand hammer to tamp even more. Only tamp about 2-3 inches at a time before adding more. Once you have hand tamped with sledge hammer not swinging it, just using as a hand tamp, then you can use a regular 1 foot by 1 foot tamp. No matter how much you tamp, you can always tamp more. A lot of air, space, in this stuff and oh, what ever you think you going to need in bags, add at least one more bag.

This product DOES NOT stay. After it rains once or twice this product comes loose and you back where you started. We tried this product few times and it came loose. DO NOT waste your money on this product. Waste of money and labor.

Great product for the price, much cheaper than similar products. Have used this several times over the last few years. I usually overfill the holes a bit, smooth it out a bit, use a push broom to sweep dirt over the top, then drive back and forth over it multiple times with a vehicle. The only time I had a problem with it was when I didn t use enough to properly fill the hole.

I have been using this stuff for years but over the last year or so it has changed substantially. The product is stiff and unworkable after a few days. I have put it down in several parking lots I maintain and it comes right out and I have to go back which has cost me a lot in labor and material costs. I searched for a similar product and found something called QPR - it works.. I recommend not wasting your money on this stuff.
